Meet the Editors, Denise Cassino, Linda Barnett-Johnson, Marie Delgado Travis

Originally from Southern California, now resides in Big Sky Country, Montana, where she met and married her husband, Karl. Many of her short stories and poems have been published. She started a writer's forum e in 2001 called "Your Writing Friend" where she gives monthly assignments, lessons, and exercises. She does book marketing via social networks. Denise Cassino is a baby-boomer from suburban Chicago. After earning a B.A. in English at Northern Illinois University, she moved to Denver, Colorado. Always a lover of the written word, she began writing in the early 90s but got serious in 2001. Her work has been published in such ezines as AboutTeens, Tapestry, Hackwriters, Ten Thousand Monkeys, Apollo's Lyre and in print magazines: Reminisce EXTRA, Garden and Hearth, Cottage Magazine, National Association of Women Writers, and in print anthologies: Passion, The Colour Gallery, and Taj Mahal Review. Sue Scott passed away on March 19, 2008. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Susan Scott was a goof, who lived all over the US, and took nothing seriously. While often perched in front of her computer in Maryland, but when wanderlust struck, she'd pack up and travel at the drop of a free plane ticket. Oh yeah, and she had the cliched requisite two cats, who did the housework. And she'd had some stuff published, much to her, not to mention the editors, amazement. AMY S. PACINI Amy S. Pacini is a freelance writer residing in Land O Lakes, Florida. She is originally from Western New York and decided to trade in the northern snow for the southern sunshine. She happily married her husband, Anthony in 2008. She is a 1994 graduate of Houghton College, who earned her B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. She is the poetry editor for Long Story Short and was previously a volunteer reader and editor for Short Poem ezine. She is the founder of Pasco Poets, and has held memberships in Poets Live, Brandon Poets & Artists Guild, the International Women's Writing Guild, and The Write Time. She is versatile in creative and business writing. Her passion is poetry and she enjoys reading both the classical and contemporary poets.
